La Vonne Scott (East High 1969) and I were married in July of 1971, so we are celebrating 38 years together. Some of you may know that we met in Sunday school "Kinneygarten" and went to Horace Mann together until they built Harding. La vonne's best friend thru the Compton and EB years was Annette Moore. Annette was the maid of honor at our wedding and Bill Fant was the best man. We visit with Bill and his wife, Shelly, every now and then. We now live in Grover Beach, CA. Lavonne is a bank officer with the Trust Div. of Rabobank in SLO, and I work for a car place that restores Jaguars and sell parts all over the world. I'm the VP of Advertising and Marketing. Looking forward to the reunion, the 30th we missed because we were moving from LA to the central coast that weekend. See you all in October. Dave Light.
